We want to systemise the routine and humanise the exception. There’s about 80% of what you do on a daily basis which is routine. You can write a system for anything your team is involved in.
It’s important to remember, if there is a challenge in the business, look at the system first before replacing the people. Have you got the correct systems? Do people know how to do the job correctly? Before we look at replacing people review the systems.
